The 383 Club: A Workspace Designed to Inspire

In the heart of Euston, London, The 383 Club represents a revolution in workplace design. At Bedrock Design, we were entrusted to create an environment that blends productivity, well-being, and relaxation. We aimed to design a space where Greene King’s staff could Create, Meet, and Brainstorm—an environment that nurtures creativity and collaboration while supporting personal recharge and focus.

Why a Well-Balanced Workspace Matters

A workplace is more than just desks and computers; it is a living space where employees should feel inspired, valued, and supported. Modern studies underline the importance of creating working environments that encourage productivity and relaxation, enhancing morale, creativity, and overall job satisfaction. For Greene King, fostering innovation and collaboration is essential, and The 383 Club was designed with these priorities in mind.

A Warm and Inviting Welcome

The experience begins at the entrance, designed to feel special and inviting. It creates a sense of exclusivity and pride as staff step into a space that prioritises their well-being and professional growth.

A Space for Every Purpose

Inside, The 383 Club is a masterclass in functional design, offering diverse spaces to suit various needs:

The Creative Hub

At the centre of The 383 Club is the Create Workshop/Project Room, an inspiring space designed for innovation.

  • A vibrant rainbow table forms the centrepiece, encouraging creativity and teamwork.
  • A concealed flat-screen TV behind colourful sliding doors—adorned with playful ping-pong bats—provides a functional yet fun element for presentations.
  • A glass-fronted fridge ensures refreshments are readily available for meetings and brainstorming sessions.

This versatile space also doubles as a recreational area, perfect for team bonding through games like ping-pong or for relaxing during quieter moments.

The Outdoor Retreat

Adding to the balance of work and rest, the outdoor terrace offers a tranquil escape. Covered with a flexible aluminium pergola, it allows staff to enjoy fresh air and outdoor seating regardless of the unpredictable British weather. This space further supports well-being and provides a refreshing change of scenery.

Practical and Functional Details

To maintain efficiency and organisation, we integrated:

For organisations looking to elevate their office spaces, The 383 Club stands as a shining example of what’s possible when design meets purpose.

  • Built-in Lockable Storage: Maximising space while keeping essential items secure.
  • Printer and Communication Units: Seamlessly incorporated without disrupting the design’s flow.

A Space Reflecting Greene King’s Vision

The 383 Club is a tangible representation of Greene King’s commitment to their team. It prioritises staff well-being, fosters creativity, and underscores the value of collaboration.

At Bedrock Design, we’re proud to have created a space supporting professional productivity and personal growth. The 383 Club is more than a workspace—it’s a testament to the power of thoughtful design in shaping the future of work.
