Bedrock’s insight into workplace design began with John’s experience designing office furniture and space planning in Italy. He then moved to a large design and architectural practice in London for five years. There, he worked across many departments from construction management, architecture, retail, office design and graphics. This is where Johns’s love for commercial interior design began and Bedrock was born.

Redefining the Workplace

Our office interior designers use a lot of our hospitality and retail thinking to approach the brief with no preconceptions because workplaces are also ‘people places’. At the start of every project, we interview key personnel to understand their priorities and requirements, and to get the best out of their staff. The workplace is a complex environment and we are skilled at integrating its many different uses. We consider presentation areas, meeting hubs, break-out spaces, hot-desking and storage as well as crèches, shower facilities, and social and relaxation spaces.
