The refurbishment of Grade II listed Edward Boyle Library at the University of Leeds required a new café concept to front the main entrance. The offer consisted of craft coffee, pizza, and a mix of grab-and-go food and drinks from local suppliers. The university supplied the logo from which we created a contemporary interior of light oak, concrete, blackened steel and copper finishes. An eye-catching 2.4m long lightbox floats above a mix of communal and private seating zones. We also designed the signage, window decals, menu boards, wall graphics, brand messaging and, in honour of the location, Scrabble-style letters for the toilet signage | Service- Commercial interior design.
