Caffè Nero purchased Aroma from MacDonalds in 2002 and ear-marked the Aroma name for future development as a less premium brand extension. It was eventually repositioned in 2019 as a dedicated franchise brand from The Nero Roasting Company. Caffè Nero supplied Bedrock with the logo and brand values from which we developed the first store located on the University of Warwick’s Westwood Campus. The brand look and feel needed to appeal to millennials, with a bright, positive atmosphere and an environmental conscience. Bespoke elements include woodblock cladding on the bar front, booth seating with a slatted finish and leather seat pads, recycling bins and a water fountain.
